Un nuevo estudio de investigación de nuestros doctores publicado en la NLM

The National Library of Medicine of the prestigious American institution National Institute of Health compiles de the research study named “Histomorphometric and immunohistochemical evaluation of collagen containing xenogeneic bone blocks used for lateral bone augmentation in staged implant placement”.

This study has been drawn up by Dr. Alberto Ortiz-Vigón from Ortiz-Vigón Clinic – PerioCentrum Bilbao, Dr. Martínez-Villa, Dr. Iñaki Suárez from PerioCentrum San Sebastián and Bilbao, Dr. Fabio Vignoletti from PerioCentrum Madrid and Verona and Dr. Sanz.

As it is explained in the abstract, the osteoconductive properties of collagen containing xenogeneic bone blocks (CCXBB) remain unclear. The aim of this prospective single-arm clinical study was to assess the histological outcomes of CCXBB blocks used as bone replacement grafts for lateral bone augmentation procedures.
